- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeted, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have obtained the user’s affirmative agreement, it is necessary for security purposes (e.g., investigating a bug or abuse), it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

- We do not sell Google user data to third parties, data brokers, or information resellers.
- We do not use Google user data for determining credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
5. How We Use Your Information (General)
We may use the general information we collect (as described in Section 1) for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the App.
- To personalize the user experience.
- To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
- To analyze usage patterns and improve app performance (via tools like Firebase Analytics).

6. Sharing, Transfer & Disclosure of Data
Google User Data & Cloud Service Data: We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data or any data accessed from Dropbox, OneDrive, or iCloud to any third parties. All cloud service data accessed through our App remains on your local device and is not transmitted to our servers or to any third-party service. Cloud service data is not provided to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers under any circumstances.
General App Data: We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share certain non-Google information in the following cases:

We may also share aggregated or anonymized data that does not personally identify users.
7. Your Choices & Data Control
You have full control over your data:
- You may disconnect your Google account from the App at any time by revoking access through your Google Account permissions settings. This will stop the App from accessing your Google Drive data.
- You may disconnect Dropbox, OneDrive, or iCloud from the App at any time through the respective service’s account settings or by signing out of the service within the App.
- You may disable permissions (such as camera or photo library access) via your device settings.
- You may decline to provide certain information, but this may limit App functionality.
- You may delete the App at any time, which automatically removes all locally stored data from your device.
8. Data Storage, Retention & Deletion Policy
Local Storage Only: All files, documents, and data within PDF Converter are stored locally on your device. We do not store any user files, Google user data, or data from any other cloud service (Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud) on our servers.
Cloud Service Data: When you access files from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or iCloud through our App, the files are downloaded to your local device memory for viewing, editing, and conversion purposes. This local access does not modify, delete, or affect the original files stored in your cloud accounts. Your cloud service data remains intact and unaffected regardless of any actions taken within our App or if you uninstall the App.
Data Retention: Since we do not store user data on our servers, there is no server-side data retention period. All data exists only on your local device for as long as you choose to keep it.
Data Deletion: If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data (including any files downloaded from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or iCloud, cached data, and app preferences) is permanently erased from your device and cannot be recovered. You may also delete individual files within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App does not affect the original files stored in your cloud service accounts.
Deletion Requests: If you wish to request confirmation of data deletion or have any questions about your data, you may contact us at appledev650@gmail.com. Since we do not retain any data on our servers, deletion is handled entirely on your local device.
9. Security Measures
We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures to protect your information:
- Local Processing: All file processing (viewing, editing, converting, merging, splitting, etc.) is performed locally on your device. Your files are never uploaded to or processed on our servers.
- Secure Connections: All communication with third-party cloud services (including Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, and iCloud) is conducted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
- OAuth 2.0 Authentication: We use Google’s OAuth 2.0 protocol to authenticate your Google account. We do not store or have access to your Google account password. Access tokens are stored securely on your device.
- No Server Storage: Because we do not transmit or store your files on our servers, there is no risk of server-side data breaches affecting your files.
While we implement these safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage users to keep their device software up to date and protect their device with a passcode or biometric lock.
10. Support & Analytics
- Customer Support: Users can contact us via email for queries or suggestions.
- Analytics: We use Firebase and other analytics tools to enhance App performance and user experience. These analytics tools do not access or process Google user data.
- Third-Party APIs: Our App integrates third-party APIs (including Google Drive API, Dropbox API, OneDrive API, and iCloud/CloudKit) for cloud file access functionality. Use of these APIs is governed by both this Privacy Policy and the respective third-party service’s terms and policies.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any material changes will be posted within the App and on this page. The “Effective Date” at the top indicates when the policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly. If we make changes to how we handle Google user data or data from other cloud services, we will notify users and obtain consent before applying those changes.
