iPhone & iPad Application

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of PDF Converter by TechGear INC (“PDF Converter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) iPhone and iPad application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. License

PDF Converter grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the App.

2. User Content

You may have the opportunity to submit feedback, suggestions, or other content to PDF Converter (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant PDF Converter a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the User Content in connection with the operation of the App and PDF Converter’s business.

3. Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to PDF Converter’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how PDF Converter collects, uses, and shares your information.

4. Analytics and Advertising

PDF Converter may use Firebase Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager to collect analytics data and serve advertisements within the App. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information for analytics and advertising purposes as described in PDF Converter’s Privacy Policy.

5. Google Drive Integration Google API

PDF Converter may allow users to connect their Google account to import files from Google Drive.

Scope of Access

The App requests the following permission:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly

This permission allows the App to:

View and download files that you explicitly select from your Google Drive

Data Access Restrictions

We only access files that you manually select
We do not access, scan, or read your entire Google Drive
We do not modify, upload, or delete any files in your Google Drive
Access is performed only when you actively use the feature

6. Google API Services Compliance Limited Use

PDF Converter’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

We only use Google user data to provide user-facing features such as file selection and PDF conversion
We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes
We do not sell, share, or transfer Google user data to third parties

7. File Processing Google API

Files selected by users may be processed temporarily to perform requested actions such as conversion or viewing
We do not permanently store Google Drive files on our servers
Any temporary data is automatically deleted after processing

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, are the property of PDF Converter or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or display any part of the App without the prior written consent of PDF Converter.

9. Termination

PDF Converter may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that PDF Converter determines, in its sole discretion, is harmful to the App or its users.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. PDF CONVERTER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL PDF CONVERTER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF PDF CONVERTER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL PDF CONVERTER’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, FOR THE APP.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PDF Converter regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements between you and PDF Converter regarding the same subject matter.
